Dan Tocher
PRESIDENT & CEO
For nearly 16 years, Dan led land negotiations, stakeholder and community relations, and complex, regulated stakeholder consultations for 1.5 GWs of Greengate Power Corp’s wind and solar project developments across Western Canada. His work spans several major projects including the Travers Solar Project, Blackspring Ridge Wind Project, Halkirk I Wind Project, Paintearth Wind Project, Wheatland Wind Project, and Stirling Wind Project.
Throughout these developments, Dan engaged with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including landowners, municipal officials, First Nations, and project opponents. His consistent approach—rooted in transparency, responsiveness, and accessibility—has earned Dan a strong reputation and enabled the successful advancement of projects on schedule and on budget. Notably, across all this work, only a single AUC hearing was required, highlighting the effectiveness of proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Looking ahead, Dan aims to leverage this deep development experience in working with First Nations, Developers, and Industry in building modular and affordable housing in Canada.
